Books Giant is a digital book creation and reading platform operated by Bivlios Ltd. ("Books Giant", "we", "us", or "our"), an Israeli company. The platform enables children, parents, teachers, and schools to write, design, illustrate, and share digital books — with or without the assistance of AI tools. The platform is accessible at booksgiant.com and through related subdomains and applications.
By creating an account or using any part of our platform, you confirm that: • You are at least 18 years old, or you are a minor using the platform under the supervision and with the consent of a parent, guardian, or school. • You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. • If you are registering on behalf of a school or organisation, you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
Age requirements: The platform is designed for children from age 5 and above, always under adult supervision. Users under 13 may only access the platform through an account held by a parent, guardian, teacher, or school administrator. Account accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and to keep your account information up to date. Account security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, notify us immediately at support@bivlios.com. One account per user: You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or access free trial features more than once.
Plans: Books Giant offers a free tier and paid subscription plans (Individual and Teacher). Features available on each plan are described on our pricing page and are subject to change. Billing: Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. By providing payment details, you authorise us to charge your payment method for the applicable subscription fee. Currency: Prices are displayed in the currency appropriate to your location (ILS, EUR, or USD) and include applicable taxes where required by law. Automatic renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. Upon cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period. Refunds: We offer a full refund within 14 days of the initial purchase of a new subscription, provided you have not created more than 3 books during that period. Renewal charges are non-refundable unless required by applicable law. Price changes: We will notify you at least 30 days before any price increase for your plan. You may cancel before the new price takes effect.
New users may access certain features of the platform free of charge, subject to the limitations of the free tier. Books Giant reserves the right to modify or discontinue the free tier at any time with reasonable notice. Creating multiple accounts to repeatedly access free trial features is prohibited and may result in account termination.
Your content: You retain full ownership of all books, stories, illustrations, and other creative works you create on the platform ("User Content"). By using the platform, you grant Books Giant a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the service. AI-assisted content: Works created with AI assistance belong to you. You are responsible for ensuring that AI-assisted content does not infringe third-party rights. Books Giant's intellectual property: The platform, its design, features, software, and branding are owned by Books Giant and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of the platform without our written consent. Feedback: If you provide us with feedback or suggestions about the platform, we may use that feedback without any obligation to you.
You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You must not: • Upload or create content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable • Create or share content that exploits, harms, or endangers children • Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party • Use the platform to send spam, phishing messages, or unsolicited communications • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its systems • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or extract data from the platform without our written consent • Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation or servers • Circumvent any security, access control, or usage limitation features • Use the platform for commercial advertising without our written consent Books Giant reserves the right to remove any content that violates these rules and to suspend or terminate accounts of users who breach them.
The platform includes AI-powered features for story generation, image creation, comprehension questions, and writing feedback. By using AI features, you acknowledge that: • AI-generated content may not always be accurate, appropriate, or complete. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before using or publishing it. • You must not use AI features to create content that is illegal, offensive, misleading, or harmful. • AI features are provided "as is" and their availability may change over time. • Books Giant does not guarantee specific results from AI tools. • Content you submit to AI features may be processed by third-party AI providers under data processing agreements that prohibit use of your data for training their models.
Books Giant offers a professional printing service through third-party printing partners. By ordering a printed book, you confirm that: • You own or have the rights to all content in the book. • The content does not infringe any third-party rights or applicable laws. • Printing costs are charged separately from your subscription fee and are non-refundable once the printing process has begun. • Delivery times and availability may vary by location.
Teachers and schools using the platform for educational purposes agree to: • Ensure that appropriate parental or guardian consents are obtained before adding students to the platform. • Use student data and content only for legitimate educational purposes. • Not share student login credentials or personal data with unauthorised parties. • Comply with applicable data protection laws, including those governing the handling of minors' personal data. The platform integrates with third-party services including Google and Facebook for account sign-in. Your use of those sign-in options is subject to Google's and Facebook's respective terms of service and privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. The platform may contain links to third-party websites. Books Giant is not responsible for the content or practices of those sites and does not endorse them.
The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Books Giant does not warrant that: • The platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure • Results obtained from the platform will be accurate or reliable • Defects in the platform will be corrected Your use of the platform is at your sole risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Books Giant and its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the platform. In no event shall Books Giant's total liability to you for all claims exceed the amount you paid to Books Giant in the 12 months preceding the claim, or ILS 500, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Books Giant and its affiliates, officers, directors, and employees from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: • Your use of the platform • Your User Content • Your breach of these Terms of Use • Your violation of any rights of a third party
By you: You may close your account at any time by contacting us at support@bivlios.com. Upon account closure, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By us: Books Giant may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms of Use, engage in fraudulent or harmful behaviour, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. In the event of termination for cause, no refunds will be issued. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. Provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Tel Aviv, Israel. Before initiating formal legal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at support@bivlios.com to resolve the matter informally. We will make reasonable efforts to address your concern within 30 days.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the platform or by sending an email to the address associated with your account at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
