Books Giant ("we", "us", or "our") operates the booksgiant.com platform — a digital book writing and reading service for children, parents, teachers, and schools. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. 2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information: Account information: Name, email address, and password when you register directly. If you sign in via Google or Facebook, we receive your name and email from those providers. Profile information: Age range, role (student, teacher, parent, school), and preferences you set in your account. Payment information: When you purchase a subscription, payment is processed by a third-party provider. We do not store full credit card details on our servers. Content you create: Books, stories, illustrations, and other creative work you produce on the platform. This content is stored securely and associated with your account. Usage data: Pages visited, features used, session duration, device type, browser, and IP address. Communications: Messages you send us through the contact form or by email.

If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without proper consent, we will take immediate steps to delete that information.

5. AI Tools and Content Processing

Our platform includes AI-powered tools for story generation, image creation, comprehension questions, and writing feedback. When you use these features: • Content you enter (story prompts, text, images) may be processed by third-party AI providers under data processing agreements that restrict them from using your data for their own training purposes. • AI-generated content is stored on our servers as part of your created books. • You retain ownership of the creative work you produce on the platform, including AI-assisted work. • We do not use children's content to train AI models.

6. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the following limited circumstances: Service providers: We work with trusted providers for hosting, email delivery (Resend), payment processing, and analytics. These providers access data only as necessary to perform services on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality obligations. Google and Facebook (Sign-In): If you choose to sign in with Google or Facebook, those platforms share basic profile information with us. Their use of your data is governed by their own privacy policies.
